Speed up your Roadmap planning by cloning your campaigns!
Once you've created one campaign, you can clone it with the same template, but change the other details and ensure that your data sets remain separate.
This ensures your data imports will be discrete (unlike rolling campaigns where your data is connected). Use this article for guidance setting up rolling campaigns.
How to Copy a Campaign?
Step 1:
Start by creating a campaign in your Roadmap. You can follow the steps outlined here.
Step 2:
Hover over the campaign you'd like to clone. Click on the "copy icon" that appears — this will initiate the cloning process.
Step 3:
You'll be taken to the 'Campaign Details' page. Enter your new Campaign Name and Send Date.
Please note: the campaign will default to the current Roadmap. If you wish to copy it to a different Roadmap, you'll need to clear the selection and choose the appropriate one manually.
Step 4:
If you'd like to make changes to the conversation (including the initial message), make sure to click the prompt: “Would you like to make changes to the conversation?”
Step 5:
Set your campaign frequency as usual and assign a specific Query Manager if needed.
Step 6:
Once you’re happy with the details, click "Save" your cloned campaign will be created.
Step 7:
If you opted to edit the conversation, don’t forget to submit the updated template to WhatsApp for approval.
If no edits are needed, your campaign status will appear as "Awaiting Import."
