Onboarding and setting up your WhatsApp account with Purlos

When you first come onboard with Purlos, you will be asked to complete a set of onboarding steps. Follow this link to be directed straight to your onboarding steps, or when logged in go to your profile icon and click 'Account Management':

The main purpose of these onboarding steps is to gather all of the required information needed for us (the ISV 'Independent Software Vendor') to act on your behalf when requesting and managing your WhatsApp Business Account.

In order to request a WhatsApp Business Account, we need the below information:

  1. Complete and submit the WhatsApp Client Terms form - To begin, fill out the WhatsApp Client Terms form. This form ensures compliance with WhatsApp’s policies. If you’re unsure how to fill it out, watch this tutorial video for step-by-step guidance.

  2. Submit your Facebook account for business verification - Business verification is a crucial step to confirm your business is eligible to use WhatsApp for communication. Follow these steps to submit your Facebook account for verification.

    Without this step, your WhatsApp Business Account will be restricted to sending messages to 250 unique recipients a day, and will appear as just a mobile number as the contact when speaking with users.

  3. Self-Service Sign Up Meta App

    • Click the Login with Facebook button.

    • A Facebook login window will appear—sign in with your Facebook Business account details.

    • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your WhatsApp Business Account.

    • Once complete, your account will be reviewed and prepared for full integration.
