Firstly navigate to the onboarding page by selecting your avatar in the top right hand corner and then select Account Management:
Then, scroll until you see the 'Login with Facebook' button like so:
This will open a new window or tab, and you will be prompted to log in with your Facebook profile that is attached to your institution's business portfolio.
Once proceeding, you will be prompted to select a Business Portfolio. This should be the portfolio linked to your institution.
Next, you will be asked to select or create your WhatsApp Business Account. You will likely need to create one, which is done by entering your institution's name and time zone before pressing continue.
The final step is reviewing your permissions. This stage just confirms the types of permissions you have provided as part of the onboarding process. Select continue to complete this process.
This process is essential in order for Purlos to be able to send WhatsApp messages on your behalf.
Onboarding a Group Account
If you're onboarding as part of a college group, you will need to log in to all relevant Purlos subaccounts in order to onboard them all. If you are yet to receive your login credentials, please reach out to your dedicated Account Manager.
If you have separate Meta business accounts for each campus/institution then you need to select the relevant portfolio and business account each time. If you have one dedicated Meta business account for your college group, then you are required to enter each College name in the 'WhatsApp Business Account' sections.
For reference, the WhatsApp Business Account is the name that'll appear at the top of your messages to learners.
