Attached you can see our data upload format, which includes the fields that are required for import.
For Engage campaigns, these required fields are:
Student ID
First Name
Last Name
Mobile Phone
Course Title
Curriculum Area
Stage
Term
Why are each of these required?
Student ID - a unique identifier separate to First & Last Name
First Name & Last Name - required by WhatsApp Team - it is against WhatsApp terms of use to send messages without knowing who its going to. The consent to send messages cannot be validated without a name.
βMobile Phone - WhatsApp only works with a valid UK mobile number.
Course Title - allows data filtering in your reporting & dashboards
Curriculum Area - allows data filtering in your reporting & dashboards
Stage - allows data filtering in your reporting & dashboards
Term - allows data filtering in your reporting & dashboards
For Destinations, we require a few extra data fields which can be found in the attached guidance template which allow you greater filtering and detail in your dashboard. These are:
Campus
Age Group
Funding Type

FAQs:
How many learners can I upload at a time?
There is no set limit to an upload! However, different workspaces have different limits - things like internet speed, computer speed, or the browser you're using can play a part in slowing down larger data sets during the upload process. If you're experiencing slow uploads or errors during the upload process, try splitting your CSV into smaller, separate uploads and this should always resolve any issues.
