Linking allows you to link a conversation branch that you've already created from one part of the conversation to another. Linking is different to Bookmarking - if you make a change in a branch that is linked elsewhere, then it reflects everywhere that the link is used. Bookmarking makes a copy of your branch that you can add in and edit that copy separate to the original. Read on below or watch the video here.

How to link multiple branches of a conversation to one branch

In this example, I want two options in my initial message, 1. 'I do' and 2. 'I'm not sure' to link to the same response.

Step 1:

Choose where you would like to link from and where you would like to link to. In this example I would like option 2 to link to the same response as option 1.

Step 2:

Click the ellipsis button next to the menu option you would like to link from.

Step 3:

Select 'link branch'.

Step 4:

Choose the menu that you would like to link to. Every menu you create has a name, and these are listed in alphabetical order for simple navigation.

Step 5:

Once you've done Step 4, click 'Follow On' to confirm that the selected branch is now successfully linked.

You have now successfully linked a conversation branch.
