We heard you! Many of our users requested a way to keep queries open while waiting for learners to reply — and it's here! 🎉

With the new "In Progress" status, you can now park any query that you're waiting on, instead of prematurely marking it as Resolved. This gives you better visibility and follow-up control, without the risk of missing a learner’s reply.

🔄 Why Use “In Progress”?

Previously, queries were either New or Resolved. But once you marked a query as Resolved, it was closed for good — even if the learner hadn’t responded yet.

With In Progress, you can:

  • Keep track of queries that are awaiting a learner's response

  • Prevent them from slipping through the cracks

  • Manage your queries easily from the dedicated "In Progress" list

✅ Steps to Use “In Progress” Status

  1. Go to your “Open Queries” list view

    • This is where you see all queries that are currently active.

  2. Open a query and provide your resolution or reply

    • Send your message or update to the learner as you normally would.

  3. Waiting for a response? Mark it as “In Progress”

    • Instead of clicking Mark as Resolved, click the small dropdown arrow beside it.

    • Choose “In Progress” from the list.

  4. Your query now moves to the “All In Progress” list

    • This is a separate list where all queries awaiting a response are stored.

  5. To view these queries, switch to the “All In Progress” list

    • Click the dropdown beside your current list view (e.g., "Open Queries")

    • Select “All In Progress”

  6. Review and follow up easily

    • Once the learner replies, you can return to the query, respond as needed, and then mark it as Resolved when it’s truly complete.

Want notifications about your in progress queries?

  1. Head over to the Query tab

  2. Change the list view from All Open Queries to All In Progress Queries

  3. Select the settings like so:

  4. You now have the option to receive notifications or emails about learner responses to in progress queries.

If you select the browser option, you will only see these notifications when logging in to the Purlos platform. If you select the email option, a notification will be sent directly to the email address associated with your account.
