Overview

The Custom Destinations Dashboard combines destination reporting with responses to your custom survey questions, giving you a more complete view of your learner outcomes.

Use the dashboard to analyse destination data, explore custom question responses, identify trends using filters, and support evidence-based decision making and quality improvement activities, including Ofsted inspections.

Dashboard Features

Confidence Level

Each dashboard tab displays a Confidence Level at the top of the page.

Confidence Levels indicate the statistical reliability of your survey data. For example, a 95% confidence level means there is only a 5% chance that the reported results differ significantly from the actual learner population.

Each tab has its own confidence level based on the number of learners who responded to the questions displayed within that section.

Countdown Timer

The Countdown Timer helps you track the remaining duration of your destination campaign. The timer begins at 60 days from the date the first survey is sent to learners and counts down to 0 days.

This provides a quick visual indicator of how much time is left to collect responses, allowing you to monitor campaign progress and plan any follow-up communications before the campaign window ends.

Communication Channel

The Communication Channel chart provides a breakdown of the channels through which learners submitted their survey responses. Responses are grouped by channel, including WhatsApp, SMS, Email, and Phone, making it easy to see which methods are driving the most engagement.

This widget helps you evaluate the effectiveness of each communication channel, allowing you to identify which methods are generating the highest response rates and make informed decisions to optimise future campaigns.

Global and Sub Filters

The dashboard includes both Global Filters and Sub Filters to help you analyse your data.

Global Filters

Global filters appear at the top of the dashboard and remain applied as you navigate between tabs. Use these to analyse specific learner groups, academic years, stages, campuses, or other available criteria.

Additional filters can be accessed by selecting Show More Filters.

Sub Filters

Sub Filters only apply to the tab you're currently viewing. If you move to another tab, these filters are automatically cleared.

These are particularly useful when analysing specific curriculum areas or departments without affecting the rest of the dashboard.

Outcome Questions

The Outcome Questions tab has been enhanced to support custom survey questions that have been added to your destination survey.

You can now:

  • View every question included in your survey.

  • Analyse responses for both standard and custom questions.

  • Visualise response distributions using interactive charts.

  • Apply dashboard filters to explore responses for specific learner groups.

This enhancement enables you to report on information unique to your organisation directly within the dashboard.

Viewing Custom Questions

To analyse your custom survey responses:

  1. Open the Custom Destinations Dashboard.

  2. Select the Outcome Questions tab.

  3. Choose a question from the list on the left-hand side.

  4. Review the response breakdown displayed in the accompanying charts.

The displayed results automatically reflect any filters currently applied, allowing you to analyse responses by cohort, academic year, stage, curriculum, and other available filters.
