How to use Historical Data Snapshot

Historical data allows you to understand how learner outcomes have changed over time without overwriting past results.

๐Ÿงญ Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Open the Destinations Dashboard

  • Navigate to Destinations 3.0 from your dashboard menu.

  • By default, you will land on the Destinations Survey Summary tab.

This page provides a high-level overview of how destination data collection is progressing.

Step 2: Access Historical Data

  • On the left-hand side of the dashboard, locate the Historical Data button.

  • Click Historical Data.

This action opens destinations data for previous academic years, allowing you to view outcomes as they were recorded at that time.

Step 3: ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ Select the Relevant Academic Date

Youโ€™ll be taken to the Destinations Historical Snapshots page. Here, you can choose a specific date to view the dashboard as it appeared at that time.

  • Use the dropdown menu to select a date (e.g., 29-10-2025).

  • Click the blue Apply button to load the historical data from that date.

Step 4: ๐Ÿ“Š View and Explore the Historical Dashboard


After applying the date, the dashboard reloads to show a snapshot of the Destinations Survey Summary as it existed on that date.

  • The snapshot date is clearly displayed (e.g., Historical Snapshot: 29-10-2025).

  • You can change the date anytime using the Change Historical Date button.

Step 5: Review Historical Destinations Outcomes

Once filters are applied, review the dashboard visuals and tables to understand:

  • Destination outcomes for the selected academic year

  • Positive vs Negative destination results

  • Learner participation and response confidence levels

All data shown reflects the learner records as they existed during that academic year.

Step 6: Take a snapshots of your previous data insights

After making sure that filters are correct, get a snapshot of it and you can always go to another date if you want, just click the "Change Historical Button"
